Bramax Quintet, the group of exceptional Serbian artists, invites the public of Arad to join in a celebration of jazz music. It is the second time that the band performs on the stage of the American Music & Jazz Festival, after being guests of the 2014 edition as a Quartet (meanwhile, the trumpeter Srahinja Banovic has joined the band).

The five musicians make themselves easily noticed on any festival stage, thanks to their creativity and virtuosity. The result is an elegant, outstanding jazz, with extremely gifted improvisation pieces.

Jamie Smith’s Mabon is a band addressing an unexpected, fresh style, which they further develop in a captivating form> inter-celtic music. The band’s songs fit in not only in a background of world-music, but also in folklorical set-ups, as the five musicians explore traditional musical forms with remarkable prowess.

Each of their performances brings about diverse pieces – from meditative texts to giga, from mazurkas to the charming muňera, which gather in a very dynamic and emotional musical journey. The alternance of gentle musical moments and rhythmical pieces, full of energy, unfolds naturally – sign of an ideal synergy between the extremely talented band members.

The performance of Jamie Smith’s Mabon marks the end of the 4 days of American Music & Jazz Festival – intended as a memorable musical experience for the public of Arad.
