Euforica, the 6th edition of the Violoncellissimo ensemble tour will include the International Day of Music Arad, the recital of Romania’s most accomplished cellists taking place on the Palatul Cultural stage, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.
“For four years we have been traveling the country every autumn in this formula, apparently the same, but constantly different, because every year new members join us. We love what we do and we want to offer our listeners unforgettable moments by presenting different expressive postures of the cello” says the cellist and professor Marin Cazacu, the leader of the ensemble and the general director of the George Enescu Philharmonic.
“In recent years, we have broken all repertoire barriers, bringing to the public famous works from classical music, but also including in our programs other musical genres that match the profile of the cello and our spirit, the performers. We like to address all categories audiences, offering them pieces of classical music, jazz, rock, folk, film music and entertainment. Our concerts convey emotion, poetry, energy, optimism and hope,” adds the renowned cellist.
