6th Symphony in F major op. 68, Pastoral;

Once in his career as a composer, Ludwig van Beethoven considered that he had a good reason to preface his music with a few words. He did it in the score of her symphony “Pastoral”, which he endowed with programmatic details and descriptive titles, inviting those who listen to his to be inspired by her expressiveness.

One part longer than all the other symphonies, “Pastoral” reveals a surprising portrait of the composer, that of the nature lover, the one who seeks his inspiration in the murmur of the stream, in the song of the birds, in the noise of the storm…
