To close the current season we offer a concert surely attractive if we think it is a Beethoven medal. The Egmont overture, scene music on Goethe’s homonymous play, suggests the dramatic agreements from the beginning of the Spanish oppression of the Dutch people, the rhythmic structure, then resumed in diminution, that of an ancient Spanish dance – Sarabanda.

The concert for piano No. 2 is a composer’s youthful work with obvious Mozart influences. The coronation of the end of the season is made through the famous 5th Symphony of Destiny, opposite the cyclical return, on all sides, of the reason for four sounds so well known.

The protagonists of the concert are both veterans of the Arad scene, well-known and, hopefully, loved by our audience – pianist Sorin Dogariu and conductor Cristian George Neagu.
