On Saturday, the Ferdinand Hall hosts a new chamber concert

Under the lead of conductor Cristian Neagu, the string assembly of the Philharmonic configures the first chamber programme in November, with a selection of scores signed by Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Philipp Telemann and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The programme of the evening of &th November starts at 7 PM with two “concertos” – Concert in do major for oboe and string orchestra RV 451 by Vivaldi and Concert for two horns and string orchestra by Telemann. The guests of the string ensemble are oboe player Cristian Tuns (Timisoara National Opera) and horn players Petrea Gîscă (Moldavia Iaşi Philharmonic) and Mihai Sîrbu (Botoşani Philharmonic). Deemed as rarities in the current programmes of philarmonic seasons across the country, the two concertos are counted among the famous musical compositions of the XVIIIth century, bearing the mark of the virtuosity and perfection of the era they have been written in.

The preclassical music fragment is followed, in the second part of the evening, by two “autographs” by Mozart – Entertainment in re major K 136 and Small serenade in sol major K 525, parts detached from a chapter which the composer has persevered to perfect during his lifetime, that of incidental compositions, which have animated receptions, festivities, private gatherings or widespan events in Europe, especially in the last decades of the same century.
